Vacation: Day 5

The next day, we went hiking on the trails around the lower falls area.    

  It was really beautiful.

 

Bub rode in the Kelty carrier again.  We borrowed the carrier from a friend of mine, and I’m so grateful.  We wouldn’t have been able to go on this hike without it.

Bub was up a couple of times overnight.  Then he woke up with a fever. 

All he wanted to do was be held and lay his head on my shoulder. 

That is so NOT our kid.  We knew he needed to see a doctor.  But first we needed to solve our E. Coli problem.

Vacation: Day 2

Traveling with a one year old means he gets to discover new things every day, including the air conditioner in your hotel room.

It also means you get to feed him in restaurants.

We never saw any rattlesnakes.  I’m not disappointed about that.   

This was at a rest stop somewhere in Montana.  It was hot, hot, hot.  Ninety-something degrees.
