The next day, we went hiking on the trails around the lower falls area. It was really beautiful.
Bub rode in the Kelty carrier again. We borrowed the carrier from a friend of mine, and I’m so grateful. We wouldn’t have been able to go on this hike without it.

Lucky for us (and lucky for you, internet, as you won’t have to read about it anymore), our drama was over. Bub got better! Thank God for Zithromax. All he wanted to do was be held and lay his head on my shoulder. That is so NOT our kid. We knew he needed to see a doctor. But first we needed to solve our E. Coli problem. I had packed something for just [...] Traveling with a one year old means he gets to discover new things every day, including the air conditioner in your hotel room. It also means you get to feed him in restaurants. We never saw any rattlesnakes. I’m not disappointed about that. This was at a rest stop somewhere in Montana. It was hot, hot, hot.
