When I got Bub vaccinated against H1N1, the vaccination clinic started at 9 a.m. So, naturally, I got there at 6:40. *grin* I was about the 12th person in line. Everyone was bundled up. Bub was at home, snug in his bed. Mr. Punky brought him later.

But I’ve just been so very tired. So, instead, tonight I’ll talk about a decision I made today. I talked in a recent post about not knowing whether or not I should vaccinate Bub against H1N1. Then [...] So. The H1N1 vaccine. What do you think? I’ll probably get one myself (as a healthcare worker, I’ll be offered one). But what about Bub? On one hand, the vaccine is new. Untested. Unproven. Possibly dangerous. The swine flu vaccine from the ’70’s carried with it an increased risk of Guillain-Barre. In fact, my childhood neighbor became disabled from that. Or [...] |
