Survival Kit: Traveling with a One Year Old (Or, Products that Allowed Me to Not Lose My Mind)

There are a few items that made my life significantly easier while traveling with a one year old.

Duct tape.  Yep.  Duct tape!

I used it to:
- hold cords up off the floor
- tape the refrigerator door shut
- tape drawers shut
- tape a blanket over the windows dividing our suite’s bedroom from the living room.

Vacation: Day 5

The next day, we went hiking on the trails around the lower falls area.    

  It was really beautiful.

 

Bub rode in the Kelty carrier again.  We borrowed the carrier from a friend of mine, and I’m so grateful.  We wouldn’t have been able to go on this hike without it.

Bub was up a couple of times overnight.  Then he woke up with a fever. 

All he wanted to do was be held and lay his head on my shoulder.
